E3 2013: PS4 Supports Used Games, Don't Require Online Connection

A smiling Jack Tretton revealed that the PlayStation 4 will have no restrictions on used games and will not require an always-on internet connection for single-player games.

"Yes, that's a good thing," he said to a cheering crowd.

Sony also announced that trading, lending and selling of games will be permitted, and purchasing a game means that it is owned by the consumer forever.

the system won't require any sort of online authentication for disc-based games.

Hey you guys gotta pay for online multiplayer now you mad? Haha the guy just said in the E3. Now you have to have Plus for online multiplayer.

I pay for world of warcraft so I'll pay for psn.

So you pay 10 dollars a month for WoW, a single game, but not for Xbox Gold which gives you the ability to play all games online? What type of faulty logic are you using

actually it is free only the ps+ cost money

I guess I would consider my self an Xbox fanboy and honestly PS4 is looking way better than Microsoft now ._. PS4 is more and likely going to be my new console.

Yeah it was good but it should be used for the advertising the PS3. Not the PS4.

The image with the 4 descriptions next to used games, yeah Xbox One has all those features, and more. You can't say Im backing up my console. Why? I own PS3 and Xbox 360 sense the day they have come out. I HIGHLY prefer Xbox 360. Case Closed.
