E3 2013: Xbox One Launches November 2013 for $499

4.6
The Xbox One will cost $500 at retail when it launches in November, Microsoft announced at its E3 press conference today.

For comparison, the Xbox 360 launched in 2005 and cost $400 for a 20GB model, or $300 for the "Core" model.

I can see this initial price deterring a lot of potential customers.

I think the PS4 will be the same price or $450. the price seems fair but im waiting for the ps4 to be shown to make my choice of which console I'll buy

It's a pretty fair price

" Overpriced " Well what did you expect it to cost? Three teddy bears and some chewed up gum? It has alot more technology than the older Xbox. The price is going to increase a little bit.

Seems a bit pricy but it does include the kinect so it's not really too bad. It's not like you can use the console without the kinect anyways.

hopefully the ps4 will be cheaper.

I will just wait until the price is lowered.

Sorcery You think that's overpriced, in the UK we're paying 420 GBP ($650).

If you didn't hear/see it's $500, which is 321 pounds
