The Xbox One will cost $500 at retail when it launches in November, Microsoft announced at its E3 press conference today.

For comparison, the Xbox 360 launched in 2005 and cost $400 for a 20GB model, or $300 for the "Core" model.

BDB Price is pretty good, since I thought it was going to cost around $600-1000

If it was $1,000 for a console I would have built a gaming PC, not even kidding.

A good gaming PC will get you around the same price tag though, maybe even more.

plus, better quality everything except for a FEW games

Exactly, if the console was $1,000 they would lose people to PC.

Woof
Miraculous Dropping $500 on a console seems pretty steep, but still i can see it being reasonable.

thing is people will still buy them.

I'd still buy it. I thought the price for Xbox One and PS4 were going to be $600 so this is better than I thought.

I thought it was going to cost $600-1000, boy was I wrong.
