E3 2013: Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain announced for Xbox One

Konami announced today that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will premiere for Microsoft's Xbox One console.

Promising "tactical espionage redefined," Metal Gear Solid 5 boasts a new open-world take on the series, offering up real-time weather and multiple transportation options.

The game also includes a dynamic CQC system. The game's storyline -- at least from snippets revealed during Konami's trailer -- seems to revolve around rescuing Kaz Miller, a character originally featured in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

This seems like a very good game but I have never heard about it before and there have been 4 other games, I might have to rent this to see what these games are about.

ShadowBoltDashie I have not played Metal Gear 4 yet but I definitely need to play that before playing this. I've always been a huge fan of the Metal Gear series(Haven't played any recent ones yet) so I'm looking forward to this.

it was a very good game buddy, defiantly give it a look, im sure you will like it.

Yeah one of my friends on here told me it was good as well as Metal Gear Rising. I'll get around to playing both of them eventually.

Never was in to Metal Gear, but they aren't bad. I am sure this one will be good though.
