Angry Birds flick flies to cinemas July 1, 2016

4.6
A release for the upcoming Angry Birds flick has been narrowed to July 1, 2016, with Sony distributing the movie worldwide, Rovio announced on its website today.

Rovio's intent on creating a feature film was made public late last year, when the studio tapped producers John Cohen and David Maisel from Despicable Me and Iron Man to lead the project. The Angry Birds movie is unique in that it's being completely done in-house – Rovio is funding and producing the film entirely on its own.mimims360_

In my opinion Angry Birds is a boring game. Don't understand why they are making a movie.

slapshot101 I can't see making a movie out of a simple game like angry birds, its like the same thing over and over.

I agree with you. I don't really understand what the story could be.

I read that this movie will be coming. Obviously it won't be worth watching for most of us here as it will be designed for a young viewing audience, but why not make it when they will make tonnes of money off it as the game is so big (:
