Battlefield 4 confirmed to launch this fall

Battlefield 4 was officially announced this evening, coming in the fall to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The game runs on Frostbite 3. It's been a weird road since Battlefield 4's unceremonious reveal in July 2012, where it was part of a pre-order bonus for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Two EA military franchises enter, one survives a year later.

Pre-orders from any retailer receive the Premium expansion pack, while Origin pre-orders get the Digital Deluxe version that includes the game, the Premium expansion, access to the multiplayer beta and some bonus in-game items. Check out the first official in-game footage above.

the graphics look outstanding, but as for the rest of the footage i was kind of disappointed, i didn't really notice any new features, the apache was the same, the buggy was the same and even made the same noise, the boat was the same, and even their weapons were the same. i know this isnt multiplayer footage and i hope they do add some new features because at the moment as someone else said it just looks like a bf3 dlc. i will still more than likely go out and buy it though just because i do and always have loved battlefield games.

Toll Never really liked battlefield... Too realistic


BF3 was one of the best games on Xbox for me

The weapons look very similar to Battlefield 3's. However the level of detail put into the rest of the game looks amazing, definitely a step up from Battlefield 3.
