Battlefield 4 was officially announced this evening, coming in the fall to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The game runs on Frostbite 3. It's been a weird road since Battlefield 4's unceremonious reveal in July 2012, where it was part of a pre-order bonus for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Two EA military franchises enter, one survives a year later.
Pre-orders from any retailer receive the Premium expansion pack, while Origin pre-orders get the Digital Deluxe version that includes the game, the Premium expansion, access to the multiplayer beta and some bonus in-game items. Check out the first official in-game footage above.

I'm with you, I expected nothing from this game. That's exactly what it is, just an expensive DLC to a game that they ruined.

LOL! First off, You've seen 17 minutes of it and no multiplayer. So you have no idea if it will be that garbage called COD. Don't you remember how people said BF3 is gonna be COD? It didn't. Will BF4 beat COD? No.
Realism? The destruction, damage, maps, everything in BF3 is garbage compared to previous Battlefields. BF4 was made to get money, EA probably told them to make this garbage so they could get money.
