Microsoft to discontinue the Gold Family Pack

Microsoft has confirmed to Joystiq that they have discontinued the popular Gold family pack. What this means for current Family gold pack customers is that their family center settings management suite is still available for them... at this time.

When asked why this bundle which for just $99.99 gave the user four year long gold subscriptions they responded the following:

"We continually evaluate our business focus and work to offer services that make the most sense for our customers and Xbox."

Applejack- I don't care if this gets discontinued. I never used it.

a lot of other people do though, it's a very great deal. 99$ for about an entire year of XBL for 4 people.

My friend gets his live because his Dad bought a Family Pack.

Its really not too much more for it, and you get 4 accounts for a year..
