PlayStation 4 price could come in above $400

According to a Japanese news source, the next-generation PlayStation 4 going to come in around $400.

A local newspaper made the claim that Sony had set the price internally above 40,000. This figure would roughly be about $430 at the current exchange rate.

Despite the claim from the newspaper, there are no official figures to support this. The price is rumored to be coming in around $399, but given the recent specifications of the PS4, a $400 price point would most likely mean that the console would be sold at a loss.

Sony's next-generation console will utilize the Gaikai cloud technology that Sony had purchased last year.

Who knows, xbox might raise their price as well. Or, this rumor could be false. No matter what, I'm going to buy which ever console is better regardless of price and release date.
