Bethesda hiring for 'unannounced next-gen console game'

Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda Games is looking for staff to work on an unannounced next-gen console title.

The job listing, which is titled 'Future Generation Console Programmer' is revealed on Bethesda's parent company site, ZeniMax.

"Bethesda Game Studios is looking for experienced programmers to work on cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles."

The listing states that you must have at least 5 years of game development experience, particularly on the Xbox 360 and the PS3. And experience with DirectX 11 is also a plus.

I wouldn't be surprised if we were given another Elder Scrolls game, I want one too. But I do also want another fallout game, they are both good.


I enjoyed both series, but I think its time for a new fallout game, haven't gotten a new one in quite some time.

That and GTA 5 would be the first, awesome, new console games.

True. CoD has run its course, unless you are a modder, which then makes the game(s) fun again.


Well I personally think COD is more fun played when not cheating, but whatever. Can't wait for another Bethesda release though.


COD games get boring when it's modded. Then when you have everything unlocked you have nothing to work for.
