WWE Game License Acquired by Take Two

4.5
The era of THQ wrestling games is over. Reports say that THQ's license to make WWE games has been bought by Take Two entertainment, parent company of 2K. At this time, it is unclear as to the amount which Take Two purchased the license for. All negotiations appear to have taken place outside of THQ's formal auction process.

Most of THQ's assets are being sold on to different companies and publishers, which are now pending court approval.

Interesting to see where this goes. I hope they don't do too much to it. They have a nice formula at the moment.

really enjoyed the most recent one, Attitude era mode was great, hope there's a story mode again though. Didn't think universe mode was that great.

Hope Take Two do a good job with this and don't ruin it.
