Counter-Strike Global Offensive getting 'major update' Monday

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will receive a sizable update on Monday, according to a recent developer blog. The update will include a revised matchmaking system for Classic Competitive mode and number of bug fixes.

Valve will also release two new maps for the game with the update: Monastery and Vertigo, the latter seen in the above image recently tweeted by the Counter-Strike team. Valve has not specified which platforms the update pertains to, but we're guessing the Steam version is on that list.

I am wanting new maps. But Ugg boots kiled you? What a stupid GT more stupid then oPtIC QUiCKz00m wanna be oG.

This game has some stupid glitches that need fixed.

If your debating to buy it. Well you should! Very much worth the money. Graphics are good everything is good on it.

I have heard a great deal of good things about this game, but I don't think that I will buy it, would prefer saving the MSP for Black Ops 2 stuff.

I am sure that the update for this game will improve the entire game play a good deal.
