Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 confirmed for Wii U

With Nintendo's Wii U press conference, announcing the release date and price of the console, set to go down in New York shortly, we've managed to uncover one revelation just a bit early. Namely, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is definitely headed to the Wii U. It's not exactly shocking, given the proliferation of the series, but there you have it.

The news confirms a rumor from last month, when a Treyarch QA tester mentioned the Wii U platform on his LinkedIn profile. Stay tuned to Joystiq for more news from the upcoming international press conferences.

I love how the are talking about how these games are going to be out for it and they haven't come out with the console or remote itself. Bad idea.


There's still 2 months until it's released, so they still have time to do what they need to do.

They Bad idea Treyarch/Activision, this will barely sell on the Wii U. Mostly because there won't be many people that already have Xbox and PS3 wanting to buy the Wii U.


I agree, also the wiiU is a total failure on nintendos part.
