Minecraft XBLA sales surpass 2 million copies

Minecraft for Xbox 360 has sold 2 million copies since its launch in early May. The $20 XBLA version of the sandbox crafting phenomenon sold a million units in five days following its May 7 launch.

XBLA portfolio director Chris Charla tweeted earlier today: "I guess I can officially mention Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has crossed 2,000,000 in sales on XBLA!!"

I don't think that people who have purchased the computer version should have to purchase the copy on xbox live. They are just trying to suck every penny out of this game as possible like usual.

Damn a million units in five days! 2 million is crazy. Glad they brought it to xbox. I think they should put it on SP3 as well.
