Bungie: Around one million unique users play Halo 3 every day
Halo 3's dominance in the weekly Xbox Live activity charts is well documented, but if you've ever sat around wondering just how many people give and receive teabags on any given day, you should probably consult a therapist. But, if you want to know how many people play the game, Bungie's Brian Jarrard confirmed with IGN that over one million unique users take part in online battles daily. Pretty impressive for a two year-old game, which, in gaming years, is the equivalent of Mr. Burns.

I agree with Ghetto, They need to make a new one already. The only reason they have so many people playing the game is they dont come out with new ones as much as the COD series.

Personally i think halo was the most over rated fps franchise of all time it really did nothing innovative at all there was plently of first person shooter games with aliens that had a much better story and more intresting features than Halo.
First one that comes to mind is Aliens vs predator (the first one for the pc) infact iam still quite sure that bungie ripped a lot of ideas from AVP.

I like the Halo series, but it gets old fast. Bungie makes good games, but they can just get boring fast. This still doesn't surprise me considering the amount of little kids on Halo.
