Skyrim already nearing Oblivion’s lifetime sales

4.6
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has moved the franchise forward quite a bit for Bethesda. And by quite a bit I mean a whole lot.

The NPD data for the month of November shows that the open-world RPG has nearly reached the lifetime sales of predecessor Oblivion, and that’s a feat it achieved during its first 20 days or so of being on sale. It came just around half a million copies short.

By now, it may have well blasted past Oblivion.

We’ll label that mighty impressive and head right back to discovering the seemingly endless amount of content the game has on offer.

3OH3 This has to be one of my favorite games. There's so much stuff to do and the attention to detail is amazing.

Distance Skyrim was way overhyped, but it looks like it really is a good game :)

If you only say it looks good, you haven't played it, and you can't say it was over-hyped if you haven't played it, in my opinion, it was under-hyped.
