I don't know why people are talking about financial problems, but anyway..... I think $50 bucks is too much. Not alone if you use an Xbox console because that's another $60 bucks for Gold, and then $60 more bucks for the actual game. I know Elite membership is optional, but still. Treyarch tries to earn fans, while Infinity Ward tries to earn your money. Main question is, is ANYONE actually going to buy Elite membership?

xMasterJPx however it is clearly stated that the money is not to be used for personal use, and can only be used to help in benefits towards education, so if that $1000 isn't being used towards rent, phone bills, groceries, anything to help sustain a living BESIDES GAMES, then that is a violation towards Ch. 33!

Not saying anything except for snitches are b!tches.

xMasterJPx your just another stuck up officer's boy who thinks he knows everything! stop talking military when you don't know **** about it! Plus I'm not in the military yet, I'll be going OCS once I graduate with my computer science/ math degree and I only have about one more year to go!

Officer Canadiate School? Lmao i will be going to ODS once i get into a PA program. The difference between me and you will be, you are a candidate, and if they dont think you are officer material they can kick you out of OCS. With ODS you are already an officer, they just need to make you. They already paid for your medical school, because you signed a contract promising to serve a certain amount of years. So after they paid for your college they arent going to just kick out you unless you do something EXTREMELY bad.

And lol im a stuck up officer boy. No im just a person who knows my shit and hate when some little wanna be marine kid who plays call of duty thinks he knows something about the military.

My dads enjoying the military and will continue working until he cant. He isnt one of those people who got their 20 years in and just retired like your father most likely.

military.com is a community site not a government site

You don't have to show you are using that money for education-related expenses, only that you are taking enough qualifying credits to receive the money. They will direct deposit the money in your account.

So if i want to spend a mere $50 of it a year, and maintain a 3.0 gpa, and take enough credits to be considered a full time college student, i will get $1000 a month.

Skrillex- $50 is a little high just for some DLC and some 'special' forums, I mean BF gives free DLC and the The same forums, and yes I am leaning more towards BF, but still activison is just a money whore.

$50 isnt high, and have fun with the BF3 free DLC. The only reason it is free is because they are probaly maps already made that they couldnt fit on the disc. So they are going to use them to lure in people who like free ****.

Some of these people on this site live alone. $50 is very hard to come by when you are living by yourself with BILLS to pay like RENT, WATER, CABAL, and ELECTRICITY. Then you also need to pay for FOOD and GAS to drive to your PART-TIME JOB with $7.50 an hour and working for 20 hours a week. Its very hard to get some luxury stuff without mommies credit card number.

Lmao $7.50 an hour, its not my fault you couldnt do anything better with your life to afford a higher paying job. I worked a job that payed $7.50 in high school, so i didnt need to pay bills. If you are working on minimum wage living alone, thats your fault. And if you cant save $1 a week for a year for elite, thats your fault.

Due to my dads post 9/11 GI Bill i get $1000 a month for every month im attending college. And FAFSA pays for everything else. So what can i say, guess mommy and daddy are indirectly paying for my stuff.

Should of payed attention in school.

So why are you spending government money on stuff like xbox and games?

The $1000 is mine to spend, not the governments. If i want to spend about $50/$9000 a year for elite, no big deal.

What else am i suppose to spend $1000 on?

if you really want to waste $9000 go ahead, just be prepared to be called a sweaty sad-act when people start to find out

Waste $9000? I barely even spend the money, and i didnt realize using $50 out of $9000 every year is wasting. Lmao.

I run off the hazlewood act which pays my entire college tuition, the fafsa goes directly into my pocket and correct ur little post 9/11 gi bill, my pop uses that for his school, the hazlewood is another military education grant that I so happened to be able to qualify for, but as i was saying the post 9/11 bill doesn't go to your pocket! The bill either pays tuition or goes directly to bills you never see the money, how I know this because my pop's documents are proof enough to back it up, whatever this kid is talking about sure needs to pay attention in school somemore, especially when I'm 6th generation military and know what the **** i'm talking about, so that money you ain't pocketing, whatever ever your getting from your daddy son is his own money! Not to mention any active military who retired before the date of August 1st, 2009 can only use the GI Bill benefits for themselves, any personnel afterwards Can use the benefits towards their children, etc. however it is clearly stated that the money is not to be used for personal use, and can only be used to help in benefits towards education, so if that $1000 isn't being used towards rent, phone bills, groceries, anything to help sustain a living BESIDES GAMES, then that is a violation towards Ch. 33!

That half assed benefits you got are way different then mine. They were going to pay my dad $1000 while he went to college. But hes been in the navy for like 26 years, so why would he be going to college. They would give him $1000 for food/whatever. So now i get that $1000 since he transfered the Bill to me.

Dont try and call me out with false information.
