Lara Croft’s latest adventure has seen her struggling for survival while trying to avert a Mayan apocalypse. However, the iconic video game heroine’s journey isn’t quite finished yet as The Pillar DLC pack for Shadow of the Tomb Raider is scheduled to land on consoles and PC early next week.

The Pillar will act as the second round of DLC for Shadow of the Tomb Raider following the recently released The Forge which saw Lara braving a new lava flooded tomb.

The upcoming adventure was announced with a release date via Tomb Raider’s official Twitter page. The tweet was subtle but effective, sporting a shot of Lara swinging from a rope as a bolt of lightning illuminates up the sky behind her to reveal a tall battered structure which looks similar to an enormous ship’s mast. Through the heavy rainfall, Croft’s signature climbing axe can be seen in her left hand.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s The Pillar DLC will arrive on December 18, 2018. The second of seven downloadable add-ons can be picked up as part of the game’s season pass or individually.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The game can be purchased via Amazon. To sweeten the deal, you can now take your first steps as the Tomb Raider for free thanks to the trial version that’s currently available across all platforms.
