Monster Hunter: World Limited Time Free Demo Announced

4.1
Earlier today, Monster Hunter: World Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto took to the internet for a special developer update. Players will be able to try out the game for a limited time with friends in a new demo.

The trial version of Monster Hunter: World will allow players to take on up to three-star quests online with players who may already have purchased the game. Even better, any progress made during the demo transfers over to the full game if they decide to purchase it. That means any crafted gear or monster parts you might be hoarding won’t be for nothing if you decide you want to take on some bigger and badder beasts.

Capcom has already announced the window in which the demo will be available:

December 11 at 4:00 pm PST to December 17 at 3:59 pm PST

The Monster Hunter website says the demo will be available only until December 16, though we’ll have to wait for Capcom to sort that out to know when the demo ends. They do detail, however, that players will be able to advance the main story quest while in the demo up to the Tobi-Kadachi.

You can access the demo by searching for the game on the Xbox Live and PlayStation stores respectively.

I tried really hard to get into this game but I just couldn't do it, to me the pace was too slow and too much time was spent attempting to buff your character. Many I know however really enjoyed this game!
