Xbox Live Marketplace Goes Down

The Xbox Live Marketplace is current down, and users are currently unable to browse the games sections of the store.

The official Support page has been updated already with the message that the following are out of action:

Browsing Indie Games from the Xbox 360 console or Xbox.com
Browsing the Games for Windows – LIVE Marketplace on a PC
Browsing Games Marketplace from the Xbox 360 console or Xbox.com
“We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue,” say Microsoft, who were admirably quick to respond to the downtime.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.”

hell its all good, something prolly just glitched or something. xbox live has my full trust unlike ps3 which i have never and will never trust. plus its just the marketplace. its not like we still cant game online. no big deal

They have nothing to answer for.

If it was a serious issue they would let us know,since we pay for Live,we deserve to be kept in the light.

mhhh but there proberly updating

cause if they were hacked the would shut the whole of live off not just the marketplace

knowing microsoft they would shutdown the entire xboxlive network if they were hacked, not to mention the xboxlive network is extremely difficult to hack, the reason being is because a good percentage of our xbox live monthly payments goes straight to the security team which has done a way better job the PS3, who doesn't have a security team! LOL
