Microsoft: We expected Kinect to be hacked, but not that quick!

Speaking to the BBC Click show (latest episode), Microsoft's CEO Steve Ballmer commented that the team did expect Kinect to be hacked for PC but not that quick. Ballmer was in good spirits about the hacking and noted that he and MS expected them to 'orhcestrate' any kind of hacking themselves in due course. He went on to claim that what's being done with Kinect by enthusiasts if FANTASTIC! Quite a contrast to Sony's stance on hardware hacking don't you think?

Goes to show you that Microsoft actually care what the consumer says or has on there mind...to work in HAND with hackers like this only improves product development ...Cause guess what..Kinect By microsoft's quote ~ Kinect will be available for the Pc platform starting with win7 and incorporating it into the pc experience very soon ....its gonna be awesome...but Sony has it in there mind that we dont control the Hardware..i didnt say the service of psn though :)

It did get hacked really quickly which they never expected, but then again they cannot stop it.

Yea sony is the wors game company ever they just dont get that they dont know when to keep working with there security they just made the ps3 and they probaly didnt test it thats why there security is so bad especially theres even proxy server on ps3 wow O.o
