If none of the offerings look that enticing, perhaps the next set of weapon options will make the second Faction Rally more worth your while. Reddit user mds1990 stumbled across the supposed second wave of faction weapons on the Destiny 2 companion mobile app, and the offerings are an excellent variety of gun types.
Seen in the galleries below, Future War Cult’s second wave of weapons include a Sidearm, Submachine Gun, Fusion Rifle, and Grenade Launcher fitted with the yellow and orange colors of the faction.
Dead Orbit has the same gun type options as FWC but with an added Auto Rifle. Of course, the Scout Rifle, Submachine Gun, Sidearm, and Grenade Launcher all have the Dead Orbit minimalist logo.
Last up is New Monarchy with an impressive showing of power through a Hand Cannon, Sniper Rifle, and Scout Rifle. In the same Reddit thread, user kenzomx also found a Sword for the faction, making New Monarchy’s options the most diverse.
As the new weapons were found on the companion app without any additional details attached, it’s unclear how these faction-specific items will appear in-game. The most likely option is they’ll be the selection offered to the winning faction, but it also could be part of the Engrams players can purchase using tokens. However, the first Faction Rally has to end before details on the second can fully emerge. Players have been participating in the many events offered in Destiny 2 to earn the reputation coins needed for victory, including the Leviathan raid, Trials of the Nine, Strikes, and public events.
Destiny 2 is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC version arriving October 24th.
