The team at Game Informer has been doing a great job at covering all the aspects of Call of Duty: WWII, since Activision’s game is on the publication’s latest cover with an old-style motif. And today, it revealed even more from the game, in the form of new gameplay from the multiplayer portion of it.

The footage provides a great look at the company’s top-notch map design, while at the same time keeping tried and true to the Call of Duty “boots to the ground” gameplay that fans remember from older games. You can also tell the authenticity of the era with the footage, including the use of old-school weaponry, as well as continuous announcements from your sergeant, who tells you when hardpoints are captured, or when they’re in enemy hands. And midway through, you’ll also get to see an awesome bomb drop from the sky, nailing a few opponents in the process. It’s pretty awesome to watch. (Although not nearly as cool as flying overhead with a plane and letting enemy soldiers have it with a pair of fully stocked AA guns.)
