Sniper Elite 4 getting new DLC, difficulty mode, more

4.4
Rebellion has announced that the third and final part of Sniper Elite 4‘s mini-campaign, Deathstorm, will go live on July 18th.

The third and final part of the campaign, titled Obliteration, takes players back to Germany in World War II.

“It’s in the Bavarian town of Steigerloch, in the heartland of Germany, where the abominable nuclear project known as Deathstorm is being researched,” the description reads. “A heavily guarded underground complex is rumored to lie hidden beneath the sleepy town’s hilltop church, with suspicious vehicle activity suggesting the Nazis are planning something big – and soon. Elite agent Karl Fairburne must draw on all his skills to neutralize the facility and bring Deathstorm down, once and for all.”

Players who purchase Deathstorm Part 3: Obliteration will also unlock six new Axis characters to use in multiplayer.

As well as this new DLC, players will also get the free Authentic Plus difficulty on the same day. This free mode features “relentless enemies and even fewer display aids,” according to the developer, with two new achievements/trophies to earn.

Finally, players will also get the following for free on July 18th: Elite Ranks that raise the level cap to 250, a new “Facility” Survival map, and the “Bunker” adversarial map.

Sniper Elite 4 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
