Death Stranding Will Not Be at E3 2017

4.3
Today, Hideo Kojima, founder of developer Kojima Productions, announced that his highly-anticipated upcoming open-world action game, Death Stranding, will not be at E3 2017.

For those that don’t know: Death Stranding was first announced during Sony’s E3 2016 presser. In development for the PS4, it is poised to be the first game from the legendary game director — who most notably created the iconic Metal Gear franchise — and his company following the 2015 disbandment of Kojima Productions as a subsidiary of Konami. The studio now functions independently.

The game is apparently releasing sometime prior 2019; however, it is almost certain that it will hit near the very end of this given period, which makes this announcement not very surprising.

As you may know, the game notably features renown actors Norma Reedus and Mad Mikkelsen, with its title being a reference to the cetacean stranding phenomenon.

Kind of disappointed, was looking forward to seeing more of this game as it has me intrigued.

What's even the point of telling people that this game exists if it's not going to be out for another 2 years?
