Call of Duty: Black Ops III update improves stability, fixes bugs

A new update has been released for Call of Duty: Black Ops III that fixes several bugs in the game’s Zombies mode.

On PlayStation 4, the update optimizes performance and fixes bugs on the Origins, Kino Der Toten, Shangri-La, Shi No Numa, Moon, and Ascension maps, which were added as part of the Zombies Chronicles DLC. There’s also stability improvements and new measures that address exploitative 3rd party peripherals across all platforms.

Global

  • Fixed an issue where incorrect voice over lines were playing in various levels
  • Fixed an issue where all players would hear the Galil firing audio regardless of their distance from the shooter
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the “fire sale” audio to play too loud
  • The Thundergun will now grant players XP
  • Fixed an issue with time attacks not working properly
  • Fixed a crash that occurred while using the “Eye Candy” GobbleGum
  • Fixed a bug that occurred while using the “Idle Eyes” GobbleGum before a host migration
  • Fixed various collision and pathing issues.

Origins

  • Fixed various Elemental Staff bugs.
  • Fixed Panzersoldat pathing issues and bugs.
  • Optimized streamer performance in the map.

Kino Der Toten

  • Fixed an issue where players were being targeted by zombies immediately after teleporting.
  • Fixed an issue where players would experience a black screen while teleporting.

Shangri-la

  • Fixed an issue where players would lose their primary weapon after picking up the cymbal monkey.
  • Fixed an issue where wall buys could lose functionality.

Shi No Numa

  • Fixed an issue where Flogger kills were not counting towards daily trap challenges.

Moon

  • Fixed a bug that would cause a “connection interrupted” error when deploying the QED.
  • Fixed a host migration crash.
  • Fixed a “Widow’s Wine” exploit.

Ascension

  • Fixed various Gersh device bugs.
  • Addressed collision exploits.

Zombies Chronicles is available now on PlayStation 4 for $29.99, and is coming to Xbox One and PC in June. The DLC includes remastered versions of Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la, Moon, and Origins.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

With a new dlc it should be expected that it will have some bugs.

Great fixes including the one of being attacked right after teleporting, they done good thing's with this game IMO (and some bad) the BO series was always my favourite

There remastered it works it at like $5 per map... that's not bad at all considering how much you will actually be playing it.

Great to hear that they fixed this as i noticed alot of frame drops with players streaming and all.

Thank god they fixed the Shangri-La glitch. That one IMO was the worst.
