As revealed to the world several weeks ago, the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII will bring the massively-popular series back to its roots of World War II later this year, while new information is on the way as the development team is aiming to bring players behind the scenes.

In a Facebook video from developer Sledgehammer Games, the studio has announced that a new making-of livestream series will be airing to reveal some insights into the making of this year’s Call of Duty: WWII. The first of the series will air today, May 23rd, 2017, at 3pm PT/6pm ET.

Studio head Glen Schofield explained that the videos will provide viewers with “an in-depth look” at the making of Call of Duty: WWII alongside several members of the Sledgehammer Games team, while other “special guests” are also expected to make an appearance during the streams.

Since its announcement, WWII has served as a notable entry for Call of Duty this year as it marks the series’ long-anticipated return to World War II, which the series last explored through a full game in Call of Duty: World At War back in 2008.

Call of Duty: WWII will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 3rd, 2017 – ahead of the studio’s first livestream later today, you can check out the announcement video from Sledgehammer Games below:
