Apple delays launch of wireless AirPods

3.9
Apple unveiled the AirPods last month alongside the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. These wireless earphones were set to launch in late October. Today, Apple announced that they will be delaying the launch.

An Apple spokesperson told TechCrunch: "We don’t believe in shipping a product before it’s ready, and we need a little more time before AirPods are ready for our customers."

Apple has not given any clear indication to when they will be ready.

The AirPods are priced at $159 and offer battery life of up to five hours, and a case that contains its own battery, allowing you to charge your AirPods on the go.

Have the iPhone 7, but definitely won't buy these overpriced peripherals. If you're willing to spend $160 on these headphones, why not go with some wireless Beats?

They need a way to be able to find them. I'd be losing them daily.

Yeah kinda laughed after hearing 5 hours of battery life. Passing on this for sure.

They look so dumb, I thought they were out already because I watched some dude review them on YouTube. They look silly when in your ear.

The airpods don't even seem worth the money. They seem way overpriced and only 5 hours of life before a recharge? Yeah no thanks

Not excited for these nor will I be buying. Not a fan of ear buds.

Interesting that they'd announce and begin sales for an unfinished product anyway. Not sure how exactly that makes sense.
