Modern Warfare Remastered vs Original Multiplayer Graphics Comparison

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released way back in 2007 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, so you’d expect there to be some pretty noticeable improvements, nearly 10 years on.

Modern Warfare was never an ugly game by any stretch. In 2007 it was pretty much a thing of beauty, and it hasn’t exactly aged badly – but the footage of the remastered version really puts it in the shade. It really looks like the team have gone all out on this one.

The game won’t be sold as a standalone release. You’ll have to buy Infinite Warfare to get a download, which comes with the original (and awesome) campaign, as well as 10 multiplayer maps. At the moment only three maps have been confirmed; Crash, Backlot, and Crossfire.

Why? I thought the updated graphics was the reason why the game is a remaster, it's supposed to look better. What's the point in a remaster if the graphics aren't updated? Are they just supposed to put the same game on PS4 and Xbox One with no graphic updates and call it a remaster?

Don't forget the comparison is with PC original so it is most likely on higher settings than standard for PS3 and Xbox 360.

The information included with the video is somewhat incorrect, all 10 of the maps have been confirmed with the 6 others been released during December.

This is pretty awesome considering this was a great childhood memory for a lot of people. I love how they tried keeping it as original as possible, but in the process also updated the graphics to make the experience even better!

Yeah sure the original was nice back in the day, but now they brought it back to life for new gen consoles. That's amazing. I honestly could careless if it has minor or major differences, it will feel good to play an old game on a new console.
