One solution i could give, and one i personally tested on a 4 floor house, is to drill a path from your router to whatever room you need, then an Ethernet wire trough it.

It might sounds sketchy but it worked better than you expect.

For me, the shortest route was going around in the staircase then trough the wall, but you need to find whats the shortest path and the most comfortable (dont run your wire trough at legs height lol).

If your wifi is as bad as you say, this is the best way? Running internet trough the electrical system is the worst idea ever created, as anything you plug will drastically alter, or even hinder any bandwith. Its a big no no.
