sorry title I mean nerds as in actual computer geeks!

basically I run my xbox directly through ethernet

but my house is 3 floors

my brother on top floor plays wifi and its awful so I know he needs a internet adapter thing like a TP Link but theyre £25 and even tho that's not mega expensive, is there any alternatives that are just as good but cheaper?

don't want to run a big long wire through the whole house to the router either

thanks guys

We have a long Ethernet cable running through the house because it lags so much.

It's like 25ft long.

I think you should buy it. It's not that expensive and it will help your brother out.

You could try moving the modem closer to your brothers room. So the WiFi or cable can reach it.

How do you live in a big house but have bad WiFi

You're not "explaining" yourself. If you was layed off after the lockdown then they still have to pay you. Which is why I asked what country you're from. If you're unhappy with people asking questions then get off the site and fix it yourself

no, they don't have to pay you at all.

some places pay by government order up to 80% and also if you're self employed and ur tax code isn't before 2018 you get nothing... your point is no longer relevant as you also don't even know how long I was working for

let me explain
taking note of all what I said above so wether ur full time or not, you don't have to be payed at all, my uncle works on butlins and them as a company are only paying him 26 hours a week and no holiday pay, but also if you're a new worker like myself, on a 0 hour contract, you can get layed of without any pay..

now stop, I didn't come on here to tell you my life story, it was to ask for a alternative... *why you got a big house without good internet* is what response I got pretty much lmao, how is that relevant I didn't need that to be said?
