Yeah I'd say it does. But I ain't looking for happiness. Looking for joy. I would love to get to where I'm content with the things I already have.

I think so, to be able to travel the world and do all the things I want to do I'd sure be happy.

We live in a capitalist society, there's no way around that reality.

With that being said, I believe that humanity bases its way of life way too much around wealth. I believe that money doesn't buy happiness, money buys you things that make you momentarily happy; money can't buy you infinite happiness because that's just simply not how the mind works.

Most people with loads of money, power, expensive stuff aren't exactly happy. Most rich people nowadays fight with depression, anxiety, drug problems, alcoholism, etcetera; most of them develop drug problems and alcoholism due to their anxiety and depression.

Humans have learned to adapt to their personal lifestyles. What I mean by this is that a person in New York will have a different perspective on what brings them happiness (for example, money) and a person in a third world country probably considers having a family and a home his happiness. What a human considers true happiness is up to them and them alone, if they wish to consider that money = happiness, that's their opinion; even though most people who think this way are part of a capitalist part of the world, as I am as well.

In my opinion, money would probably make me happier than I am now. I could help my family out, clear my debt, I could purchase the vehicle(s) I want and all of that.

Always asked myself the same question hard to decide really, but you need money to do the things that make you happy? Like hobbies etc even work if you enjoy your job that is, id say yeah it does.

For me yes and no I'd rather be happy then have to work over time to make all that $$$. Simple things make me happy that an extra 100$ saved from a check is good for me like a new pair of shoes.

Yeah the joy people get from winning like $100 is insane.
I'd gamble all the money away though and probably end up in rehab.
