Just want to point out that I've never seen a member with 100 posts and have 100 rep. Always been over a 1 year member with 100 rep let alone 100 posts. Moving forward, I do see people ask for rep but it's banta but I get it for the people that do join in for the first time or in general it can be bit annoying to see. The RepTrain hardly ever comes in the SB now. Glad I got the badge out of the way. I'm sure anyways that the Staff will pick on that and they'll see that they'll be dealt with. Do you think the rep system will change?...umm...maybe not sure?

Its a lost battle, tried months ago with a similar post. The only response you'll get from staff is "were looking into it." I agree with you but just dont waste your time. Also expect to be harassed for this post too, staff wont do anything about that either, as Saki said "it's the cool thing to hate on whoever is in the SB." So talk mad shit in there and if you get banned link them that quote because its the cool thing to do.

Rep is shit we all know it, just no one will admit it but a few.

As long as Admins and mods don't over do the repping we should be fine. I would like to have the amount of rep staff can give out cut in half imo, I think that will enough. Also, staying away from rep incentives for donation drives will keep us on track.

Rep levels go up to 10k and have always been that way. Most people see people hit 1k and remember a few years ago when point a few people were in that range. 2k is the new 1k of the past.

as in the amount of people they can rep, or the amount they can give each time? Because isn't it unlimited amount of people for admins? And 100 people a day for mods? The amount of people wouldn't be an issue if they were subject to the same rules as we are, no more than 3 times to the same person in a 24 hour period

It's mostly new users that rep boost because they see other users with such large quantities of rep and wanna be on that level.
I've seen multiple new members do it and I still see it happen with almost every new member.
