So recently I've been thinking how bad this 'rep system' is. I understand this post will most likely get hate but at this point, idgaf about 'online haters'

I won't name and shame because I don't do that anymore
Users with less than 100 posts and 100 rep, wtf is that shit? Let me just look at the rules of the site real quick...
Oh and FAQ's - Forums > What is reputation boosting?
Why are these two things on the site? I can sit and record the homepage for a day and re watch the footage and probably see multiple members repping the same user over and over again, not even on Shouterday which is just straight mean tbh, I cannot be the one to talk as there probably are screenshots of me asking for rep in the ShoutBox as a dumbass joke
Rep is meaningless yes, but why does the site have those rules and this user in particular still has privileges?

If you're on the homepage at the time of someone repping someone you will see -
Sean gave reputation to fakeMr_Robot (Users names obvs)
I can just sit there and see 2-3 people repping the same person, when they ain't even close to a milestone

No, he means when it shows up on the homepage 'Whats going on' section.
Yeah, I kinda agree despite me being just as guilty of it. Either remove that rule or be stricter in enforcing it imo.

it shows up on profiles "Recent Activity" feed and in the on "What's going on?" Recent feed on the homepage

Ive seen a few people with this, cant say i take much notice but now youve said it, you have a point, although the Rep system is a little pointless

Except everyone in the shoutbox has a free pass when it comes to abusing rep. The rep system is flat out broken for that reason. If you're a regular in the shoutbox then you'll see people who have 200+ rep and <100 posts for example. Not worth getting mad over because it's just rep but it's annoying anyways.
