Famous is not that bad of a dude.

We Volunteer, but I heard that there is talk of free gold?

I was just coming back to the site after years of being suspended. Just was nice to everybody and tried to help out. Eventually I was offered a position.

Shouterday is my favorite. Special Emotes just make me laugh, especially the John Cena.

-Deano wrote General questions to any staff:

1. How busy does the incoming reports get?
i.e. Is it easy enough for a couple of staff to slam through them all or is it a big group effort to keep on top of it all?

2. How many reports would you say, on average, you handle in a given day?

3. If you had to pick one major issue with TTG, what would you improve upon and why?

Also, Merry Christmas to all the TTG staff and members too!

1. I would say it's a fair amount. It's not overwhelming at all; just something I check a few times a day.

2. Depends on the day. I try to get at least 10 a day at least. Other days it can be really busy however

3. I would want more Shouterday Emojis, or How come we have :mcd: and :kfc: but no :tacobell: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

WaW and Cod 4 infections brought me here originally, then I got into some of the PC Sections and started meeting people here, got involved in some contests and tournaments, eventually ended up spending most of my free time posting or talking to people in the shoutbox. Keeping up with friends and helping out with staff stuff keeps me here on a day to day.

Downs: Not being able to ban Loke

Allergies wrote My question is directed at any staff member who can answer.

Who decides what members are rated awesome? There are a ton of great members on this site and I'm just curious who makes the decisions on who is the best. Hope that made sense. Merry Christmas to y'all

Administrators are the only ones who can give out badges, so it mostly falls to their own jurisdiction. Occasionally there is a member that sticks out so much that we as a team discuss giving them a badge, but it's ultimately up to an admin to pull the trigger.

Matthew- wrote To all staff; what's best part of being a staff member of TTH?

Refer to the "Ups" section of Question #1

Petite wrote First off I think it's important to thanks all of the staff for keeping up this site, regardless of its ups and downs I'm really impressed with where TTG is and has been.

My question is what decides someone being picked as moderator? I understand there's lots that go into this decision as a user has to be supremely trusted but what is something to kinda get your head out there?

Not saying I'm entirely fit as a staff member but I just seen in a previous post that there isn't many reports coming in for spam or useless posts and I see bucket loads, of course I report all of these and generally see myself reporting 3-4 posts alone. I don't even always report cause sometimes I think some posts are so useless that I'm surprised it hasn't been spotted and taken down.

Choosing staff mostly comes down to Sean/Suhpose/Admins. They recognize the needs and are able to see who is the best fit for the team. In the past there have been recommendations by staff on who should be given a chance, but it mostly is whoever Admins believe is the most trustworthy and deserving.

I wasn't given the choice of being a staff member (I definitely would have picked yes anyways), I just kind of got yelled at by Mark to join the ttg mumble and r00t/hippie told me I was a Roster 2 Scum. I don't even think Sean knew I was staff for a good while. Was pretty cool 10/10 would do again.

Speed;
When you was promoted to admin, what was the first thing you did?

Do you ever get pissed off with people asking stupid questions on ATS section?

Would you ever make a community event for people to come beat you on games?

I know these aren't yet but I'm not gonna have chance to ask them on the day. I'll be lurking for the answers though!

Sean;
What are your future plans with the theme of the site?

Is there any new features you'll release in 2018?

Why won't you ever show people the admin and mod parts of the website? If there's no explanation. Can you show us?

Would you ever work with another developer other than Teli?

Famous;
What's the best part of being staff?

Ethan; what was the first thing you did wen you was promoted?

I currently work at a golf course. As it's now winter work has slowed down quite a bit, but I hope to help work on equipment until it's nice enough for us to start going out again.

If you consider free gold and getting abused by admins payment, then yes we do, otherwise no.

I reported a lot of topics.. After destroying my hands reporting for what felt like an eternity, Suhpoop asked me if I'd like to join the staff team. Here I am now, locked in Sean's basement slaving away at reports. plz send help

Shouterday is by far the best thing. I love abusing using my powers to post giants pictures of dogs and blow up eardrums with cenas.

1. All depends on the day and what games our out ect. When cod WWII released and we were flooded with boosting threads, I got to do quiet a bit of work.

2. Refer to question 1.

3. I'd have to agree with Chris on this one. I need more shouterday emojis.. https://www.thetechgame.com/images/chat/smiles/feelsgoodman.png

Seeing as it's now the 3rd batch, I'll kick it off with a few questions for:

@Sean

Previously you stated "Within the next 5-10 years TTG will become a platform for game developers to host community forums for their games giving them the same level of tools and access we have to moderate the TTG community" - this was said nearly a year ago and although the forum changes were a big step in the right direction, what steps will next be taken to come even closer to this goal?

In regards to your recent post about possible changes to substitute the loss in ad income, will there be other new introductions of ways users can financially support TTG excluding the new membership(s) such as a possible expansion of merchandise on the TTG store or even the revamp of it's social media's to gain revenue that way (Twitch, Youtube etc)?

Merry Crimbo!
