Edit: Get the model and look on the manufacturers website for a guide or something. Hell, see if it's still in manufacturer warranty

everything is set up correctly. When i put the temp down it doesnt go to 0 in the freezer it just goes to 64 degrees.

Many times i've gone to buy things brand new and turned out certain parts didn't work or it was faulty. Best bet would be to google the company, find the address and take it back. Or ask someone you know, who knows how to fit fridges and check it out as it could be faulty rather than a scam.

All may not be lost. Alot of times a non working freezer can be fixed for under 100 bucks

You didn't get scammed. You payed for a refrigerator, you got a refrigerator. If it's not cooling, you can fix that for far less than buying a new one.

If you're going to complain about it go buy a new one from a reputable business.

Look in the fridge for a dial or two. May of been in the off position if it wasn't touched or might be changed. If you have any questions or need any help let me know i know extensive knowledge about refrigeration, so i might be able to help
