Well if he's gonna send it out to you for test driving? wouldn't that be proof he's actually going to sell you it.

Negative , its all a scam. If he's "selling through amazon" he's gonna send him the car to drive, have him purchase something irrelevant and nothing to do with the car on amazon and completely screw him over.

Then if he decides to "steal the car" or whatever, he has his address. RiP Buyer.

Sounds very sketchy, if you get to test drive the car for 7 days, have a qualified mechanic do an inspection on everything in it, in a garage, also do background checks on it with insurance companies etc as it could be a stolen car.

Just another thing to think about, there is literally no benefit for him to ship it to you. It'll cost about $1 per mile just for a flatbed, that's not even including transport on a boat if it's from overseas. He will spend thousands of dollars on a hope you'll buy it? Even if you did he'd be taking a huge loss which means he wouldn't do it because there's no money in it. That right there is enough to see it's a scam.
