Honestly if you don't do it why should you care? Let other people destroy their bodies. No reason to get that worked up about it.

E-cigarettes don't burn their tobacco, there is no smoke involved in the process.

The jury is still out on whether or not they are good for you in general so I'm not endorsing them and I agree that they shouldn't advertise something in a positive light before enough research has been done to determine whether or not they really are good for you.

But I think that people should be skeptical for the right reasons and smoke damage isn't one of them in this case.

If you're talking about the chemicals in the vapor which can cause harm to the lungs - and are using the term 'smoke' broadly - then that's perfectly fine, but it's not the similar to the extent of damage which is analogous with smoke from a fire.

From what I understand, most vapes actually do use a small igniter.

I made a mistake in my first post, they don't actually use tobacco at all.
The liquid contains the nicotine and the burning element heats that liquid until it becomes water vapor, rather than smoke coming from tobacco.

Or people that actually want to find a healthier solution than smoking.

I see. That makes sense. I believe you can get nicotine free juice. That's an even bigger waste of money IMO.

Half of the time people use the nicotine shit, so it doesn't help them. Keeps them attracted to them, not going away from them.

I can say from first hand it does. I've been using the nicotine one for a few months and within the first week I could feel the difference. Also I use it a lot less than I did to begin with. A 10ml bottle can last me a month and costs £6 whereas before a month of smoking used to cost me around £135. Like I said I can tell the difference in my health & it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

Exactly, I tried quitting cigarettes by using Nicotine gum. I became addicted to that instead.

I care because I dont want to see the society I live in to blindly become addicted to something just a little bit less harmless than cigarettes and if this trend continues as it is I dont want my family in the future to be tricked by to these morons. "Oh its harmless" "oh its not bad for you"

ALSO to play devils advocate I dont find it fair that vape sellers can do this but cigarette company's cant, we all know cigarettes are terrible so would avertisments for them really do any justice? Vapes are still new and they havent been around long enough for scientists to study the effects on the body so for some reason they are ok to advertise?? mmm

How does that not help? People have a ill-informed view on nicotine.

Nicotine is about as bad as caffeine, it's the other chemicals in cigarettes which is the most harmful. By substituting Cigarettes for Nicotine gum it's been reported by doctors you're removing 90% of your health risks.
