I'm pretty sure you can pick n choose which lobbies are legit and which ones aren't.

Normally if i see a thread and the first ten replies are "legit- inv GT- need10thnow" i assume its not legitimate.

If i see some appreciative replies such as, thank you for the services i recommend this guy to everyone legit legit then i assume hes legit.

normally someone asking for people to post before it starts is up to something cus lets face it you arent going to waste a kv waiting for someone to post legit

Eh... that used to never happen.

Unless there is 100% proof or a member of staff's vouch then i dont see the issue. But for a 1 hit wonder,Rookie to be doing it..kinda sucks. Im sure if the lobby is legit, then members would post "legit" anyway. But this has been happening probably way before my time on TTG. So chances are it wont stop any time soon. If the staff remove the topic..whats saying the lobby isnt legit? I think thats how TTG see it.

It's very annoying especially when you can tell it's not legit.

You just need to check to post before actually posting. If the person has a good rep on here, chances are they are hosting a legit lobby

I wouldn't post until you're in the lobby. People don't even post half of the time anyway and true modders know this and usually don't even ask because they know it won't happen

For real though, Yeah I see this in the Xbox forums more than the PS3 Forums. I can see why people / hosters get annoyed people posting what they post.
