I am 29 years old man.
I have never experienced this, but as a spouse I have expierenced
losing a father and a mother. My wife is only 33.
She lost her mother at the age 24
and her father last year. It is a rough stage to go through and it never goes away
everything brings up a memory you have of them.
It does get easier but birthdays, holidays, and other special occasion you shared
together are hard. Take the time to go visit the gravesite and spend some time with her.
I do believe they are not there at the gravesite but their spirit is there to walk along side
day in and day out. I miss these two people very much. I am getting emotional just typing this man
I just want you to know, I am here for you if you need anything and just know
God is in control and he will comfort you in time of need.

I've never experienced losing a close family relative. All my siblings and parents are still living. I have lost 2 of my uncles and 1 aunt in the last 3 years to cancer though. And even though I wasn't super close with any of them, times are hard. I only ever saw one of my uncles on holidays, mainly Christmas. It hasn't even been a year since he died, and this will be the first Christmas I don't see him. I know it's going to be hard.
I couldn't imagine losing my mom, I hope I never do. I would much rather die first before any of my family, I just wouldn't be able to deal with it for a long time. But, things do eventually get better. My 3 family members died because they lost to cancer, and well, the way I like to think about it is that they're not sick anymore. I might not believe in the whole "heaven and hell" thing, but I do believe there is some form of afterlife, and that they are okay now.

I am truly sorry for your loss my brother!
I can't even imagine the pain you must be feeling each day and I pray that you find strength and overcome whatever you are feeling. I am 18 and have not lost a parent, thank God everyday. My mom is turning 47 next year, and I can't imagine losing her. Again, I am sorry for your loss and I hope the years to come bring you gratitude and peace!

i feel you, i basically don't have a mom lost her to drugs but we still meet her, i got a broken family, still makes me kinda sad. i live with grandparents because dad cant take us to school because of work.
