-Trusted wrote Elgato game capture (One of the best or even the best)

I think a custom PC would be better then a laptop

But you want a high end one for gaming and recording like maybe 8 GB Ram if you can get them and windows 7 for gaming just overall a high and one

shhhhhh..... HD PVR 2 GE is better ;)

If you enjoy it, it is worth it. Avoid becoming a LuckShotter, its overdone and saturated.

Be yourself and do what you enjoy, do not do stuff simply because it will make you more money. Money will come in time, just stick at it and be 100% dedicated.

Some professional youtubers took more than a year to get their first 1000 subs, fame and money are a long way off!

Good Luck and I hope you make it!

As someone else has previously mentioned, you shouldn't be doing it for the money initially. You should be doing it for fun - as a hobby.

Gaming careers evolve from strong passion and devotion. Your viewers will know if you are just in it for the money, and nobody likes that. Upload high quality content on a regular basis - by this I mean at least a video every week and with a good quality microphone/video capture. Try to be different from other YouTubers - there are thousands of 15 year olds like yourself trying to become the next Whiteboy7st, FaZe, ect. It's cringeworthy! Just be yourself and dont try to follow the generic YouTube 'trickshotter/gameplay' trend.

Grow a fanbase, and you may eventually start earning. It really does all depend on how you present yourself, your videos, and your channel. You could also consider streaming gameplay on Twitch as this is a good way to gain new viewers.

Good luck!

No, you can't live off being a gamer. Go to college and get an education.

First decide exactly what you want to do with your YouTube channel.

There's a bunch of channels who just upload Ghosts videos. Be unique, be a commentator. If you have a decent voice, just use that annoying high pitched tone they use. Do life stories.

If you're good you'll grow... if you're not, then well...

I thought the same thing when I was young. Not to shit on your idea but It is VERY unlikely it will happen. When you get older you will find out stuff gets old and boring. Find a real job that will make you good money and go towards that. The 0.00001% chance of making gaming as a career is not worth the time and effort. At the end you might just be screwed over and have to settle for a shitty real world job.

The most important thing in life is enjoying it. Yes, you may not enjoy it if you don't have cash, and that is one of life's struggles, because often you need cash in order to fund something you enjoy. So, I'm sure as you get older, the need for a job that you don't enjoy doing will grow more and more apparent. However, the question is it worth it is difficult. Would you have told Slash not to pursue a career in music, even if that as all he enjoyed doing from a young age? Or would you tell Michael Schumacher that he couldn't become a race car driver? It is true, that often, it's only the lucky ones who can make money from something they truly enjoy doing. But, if you feel like thats all you want to do, even when you grow old enough to have to live independently, then go for it mate!

Instead of a laptop, Get a Custom PC. They are much cheaper and better.
