I heard that the age limit is ment to be going to 18 soon not completely sure but that's all i heard my friends say at and that's just to smock btw.

im 15 and get served at shops in the UK but im 6.4" so its easy but you have to be 18 for the sale of tobacco related products and 16 to smoke them

The idea behind the buying age being greater than the usage age is to make sure that a "responsible" adult knows of your habit, because you're both a child and possibly being peer pressured/unfit to make the decision if you're younger than 18.

You need to be 18 to buy buddy,but 16 to smoke it you shouldnt smoke cigs you should smoke the other stuff, its called fresh air man I'm sorry for saying this but if you're being forced into smoking by your friends dont man it dont make you look cool.

In the UK, We can legally smoke at the age of 16 then buy them at 18, If your under the age of 16 and smoke your Tobacco product of any kind even your Rolling papers will be taken away and either binned or given to your guardian

The law is pretty stupid lol

Like a few others have posted , You can smoke at the age of 16 but can't buy them nor anyone can buy them for you !!

Is it me or do I just not understand the logic in that law ahah
