I could say the EXACT same thing as to what you said about armed teachers.
I don't support armed teachers. Thats just asking for accidents but if there was a MUST have then it should not be a gun.

A gun is the only thing that will put down someone with a gun.

Tazer = Even if they're not on drugs, they would only be down for a couple seconds before being back up and 50 times more pissed.

Pepper spray = You have to be SOOO close to someone to be able to effectively hit them and not get it into someone else's eyes.

No, the kid would be wasted after he was hit by a tazer. The teachers should also put the student immediately under citizens arrest and call the police. Plus students could easily steal a weapon from a teacher rather he/she be holding on to it or hiding it in the room and before you say they can do the same thing with the tazer. A gun is far more fatal.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. It would lead to many deaths because I myself have had some crazy teachers to know.

No they couldn't.
Like i've already said, there would only be 3 people that would know where the gun would be. (IE: Secret locked compartment)
(The teacher, principal, and cop that signed the permit.)

I'd much rather have the life of the assailant ended rather than multiple innocent children.

A secret locked compartment really. Whats the point in that? Lol the shooter would have already annihilated children by the time. Higher some security instead of training teachers to kill students.

That is the most ridiculous thing you have said in quite some time.

FlutterBat wrote I personally say no, there's almost no need if they could carry something like pepper spray.
Do you have a brother or sister. If you do and a shooter came into your brother or sisters school would you want teachers armed with only pepper spray?

Having people that are only trained to handle situations that involve shootings/school conflicts is far more better than sending teachers to camps to train to kill people. That is the most ridiculous thing I have heard. Having trained professionals on sight and ready rather than teachers that have to go to a secret compartment which could be blocked by shooter.

Your own words:

If a teacher is likely to kill innocent children, they wouldn't have a gun at all.

Training teachers to kill an assailant is hundreds of times more efficient that waiting on the response of trained professionals.

Just look what happened at Newtown when they called for armed professionals.
