Hi,
i have a dell inspiron laptop and have just realised the hard drive space is a real issue with only a 125Gb space i have filled this up and my laptop is running quite slow i have removed unused programs and have had to move certain stuff to an external drive.
So if i wanted to updrade the hard drive how would i put everything on the other drive seeming as i only have one hard drive connection including the os. also how doi find out what sata my current drive is?

to find hard drive type:
find computer model/name eg."ASUS K55VD-DH51-CA" by:
start/computer/right click properties/windows index experience/view and print detailed system performance
now google computer model with hard drive eg."ASUS K55VD-DH51-CA hard drive"
once you figure what interface it is you can use a external hard drive enclosure to transfer the rest of you data to your upgraded hard drive.
