Hi,
i have a dell inspiron laptop and have just realised the hard drive space is a real issue with only a 125Gb space i have filled this up and my laptop is running quite slow i have removed unused programs and have had to move certain stuff to an external drive.

So if i wanted to updrade the hard drive how would i put everything on the other drive seeming as i only have one hard drive connection including the os. also how doi find out what sata my current drive is?

Thanks in advance

now google computer model with hard drive eg."ASUS K55VD-DH51-CA hard drive"

once you figure what interface it is you can use a external hard drive enclosure to transfer the rest of you data to your upgraded hard drive.
