Stick to solid colors.
A few tips for logo design, take 'em as you wish!
1. Use illustrator so its in vector, so then it can be resized down to a tiny pixel to fit a zipper then all the way up to 4000x4000 to fit a t-shirt.
2. ALWAYS design in black and white, not always can you print in full color, so if it doesn't look good in grayscale, it may never look good.

i think you should make the text logo fit it completeley so that there is no drop shado on it all then it will blend a little more

id try making it less glossy and more matte

I think if this was to be used you'd have to make the bottom text either larger or just in another font.
