Will this be going on a site header or card?

Most likely on his estimate paper and his card.

If that's the case, and it may be printed, you may run into trouble.

Really dude? In what way, I had no idea about this. The first logo I made for him way back then was used on all of his estimate papers ? Please explain what could happen in a message if you don't mind.

It looks to childish and not professional stay away from weird gradients especially for business logos.

Gotcha, thanks for the feed back.
Try just a simple green on the house and silver/white on the logo with some slight drop shadow, it may look a tad bit more professional

Doesnt look like it would be a logo , looks really choppy

if i was to think of a logo for lets say a construction company i would of thought of something on the lines of say a few bricks ontop of each other with cement on top

or either a trowal and a shoval crossing each other

well thats just my oppinion ....

Having the amount of gradient you have on there could be a printing nightmare.

Also think of resizing,if its just for letterheads and business cards I tend to create on a 1000x1000 canvas.

For a more professional look, spacing and things like that are key. The "H" really throws it off for me.

Maybe add a slight gradient edge to the lettering and house and leave the fill colour simple. Atleast if the gradient fails or fades the full colour is still there.

Gimme 2 minutes and I will try redraw what I mean
