I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this but

I don't see the point of all this really hard work in school. I mean who needs to know the square route of 5 if your going to play football or soccer. There is no point in doing all this pointless work for a job that doesn't require it. If your going to be someone who need that kind of work like a teacher, scientist, or something like that. They should have different kind of schools. If a kid who wants to play pro sports is in a class of people who want to work with money school and numbers and that one kid is getting pounded that's not right. I know I hated it. I wanted to play pro sports and all this pointless work gets dropped on me and I was asking why do I need to know this. Your basically done with school by 6th grade, if your going into sports. Now once your done with all that work you should chose where you want to go from there.

More than half of the people that want to play pro sports wont get there.

We may not " like " school but its very important, its something that we all need, without it we would be downright Retarded. Also without school we would be bored and probably wouldn't know what to do anyway since we are taught to READ and SPELL or even to do 1+1 at school. Some also learn while socializing becuase most of us make lifetime friends at SCHOOL. its very important, but keeping your grades high doesnt matter untill your in grade 9.

With american football, you need to be in a university/college and then tryout for the team, be good enough and then drafted into the NFL, so you do need some schooling.

Yeah but I'm saying if you get basic learning like all you need to live life then you don't need to know 91453/4 to throw a pass or sack a QB

This is how I see it..

School gives you knowledge of things.
Knowledge that comes in handy when wanting a job that pays the bills.

If you don't care about school then you will simply end up regretting it for most of your life.

People like Wayne Rooney (football player/soccer player) can afford to not care about school as he is greatly talented. He dropped out of High School and is now one of the most payed footballers on the planet. Wayne Rooney is what you call 'lucky'.
