So you're basically wishing eternal suffering upon your friends for not believing in "god"? True friend right there!

expldodingadrian wrote Your points are stupid.

point 1:

if your religious you believe in something that you have no proof bbut yet you still decide to believe in it because it's easy to believe in. althoug if you're an athiest, you more than likely believe in science. sciencie although it doesn't answer everything, it is based off things that would be logical and can be supported, while religion you have no proof whatsoever.

point 2:
get an item of normal food in the kitchen (normal food represents athieism) and put it in your right hand. now imagine you have an item of food of your left hand that you love. you'd prefer the imaginary (imaginary food represents religion) item in your left hand because you like the item more. although, the item on your left hand isn't as good, it's edible because its a real object and therefore will actually serve a purpose to the person eating it.

your points don't prove sh*t. sorry...

religion may not be easy. its not imagery because if you change your life because of believing this religion then how is it all imagery.?

this is my opinion on the matter...
I BELIEVE IN A GOD but NOT THE GOD.
i believe that this GOD we all talk about has been changed after many generations due to population control etc. what happens when all of the religions clash? this seems to happen. people fighting over THERE religion because THERE religion is RIGHT. well years ago we actually combined religions together. one village believes on religion, another religion is joining through people joining the village. special occations such as christmas would then be a special day in BOTH religions. i believe that we are just going through the stage of evolution. when we all work together anything is possible but the state were in at the moment is just our low point in the human race. in near enough EVERY religion there is the 10 commandments. in near enough every religion there is JESUS in there. ALSO religion has been changed over and over again, that is why i dont believe in a specific religion. things such as the VIRGIN MARY. 'VIRGIN' was translated completely qrong. the term virgin today beens you havent had sex your PURE but virgin in those days ment 'YOUNG GIRL'. mary could of been cheating for all we know. we dont know that anything is real because most of it has been mistranslated and changed. maybe due to population control? 'GOD came from the heavens above' what so he came from space? 'he built the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th' so could we possibly be talking about an advanced race building us a home? did they possibly create us? the angels came with GOD' GOD was possibly the leader of a team which created us? we were not ready for them so we called them GODS because they could fly? ALL of these questions are here but nobody can answer them because NONE OF US KNOW THE TRUTH. religion 90% of the time normally always comes in to play. an athiest whos family member is dying may go to church and pray. just think about this and think outside the box.

IF NOBODY KNOWS THE TRUTH THEN RELIGION IS UNPROVEN...
UNPROVEN I MEAN ITS NOR REAL NOR FAKE...

You will never be able to prove it unless this God you speak of comes down here, which will never happen.

One more thing it's common sense, Science speaks more for the earth than religion does.

But how do the traffic lights know when to change?

But seriously.
I do believe in god to an extent but not completely. Humanity's views on the subject are mixed just as they have been for the last few thousands of years. It all comes down to our quest for Knowledge that will eventually kill us all and have the human race go extinct. Many people are ignorant and fail to view both sides properly. On the scientific side, yes it makes sense but to an extent, there are many flaws in it just as there is in the creation theory.

The Big Bang did start off the universe yes, but for that to happen something had to be there in the first place, the universe was obviously created by something, not saying it was by some omnipotent being in the sky. There may be a god or mediator in existence but the chances of us obtaining complete knowledge of it is near impossible. It would require a human to become omniscient therefore pretty much ascending into a godlike status himself.

When it all comes down to it we will not know what happens when we did until we die. There are some things that humans are not meant to know. People don't consider that once they find the answer to it the answer could be the exact opposite of what they want it to be.
