If it were to appear in your head then sure it can stay as a thought of your head but God needs to fulfil all parts of life in order to be the creator so if you are an atheist you know that God is the all powerful PERFECT being which you so reject. If he was perfect he would need to have every quality or attribute of life itself and one of those is existence. If God did not exist he wouldn't not be perfect and then there would therefore be a more perfect being with a higher stature than God that did exist and possessed all the qualities of everyone and thing. In order to be "God" you must be idyllic and by being a part of existence you are holding one of the potentially infinite amounts of traits a being can have.

These are all aspects of humanity, by your logic, God must fulfill these in order to exist.

The meaning of God doesn't say that it must exist. A fictional character can be omnipotent without entering reality.

In Marvel, there is a super hero called The One Above All.
This super hero is equal in description to that of the Judeo Christian God.
Does this mean that he must exist?
